Boulder Colorado

Welcome to Boulder, and what happens when you are across the street from the Boulder County Courthouse in the heart of downtown?

When Colorado dished out the spoils of statehood, Denver got the capital, Canon City a prison, and Boulder a state university that promoted a local society that valued freethinkers and new ideas. When commerce and culture merged in Boulder in the 1870s, the push to build Colorado's first university continued. Boulder sponsored the creation of Colorado State University and the University of Colorado at Boulder, as well as a number of other colleges and universities across the state. In the next decades, the cultural landscape of the country changed and laid the foundation for a future-oriented university city with a lively art scene and a rich history of innovation.

With the rise of the mountains came Boulder Creek, which carried the snow melt from the Indian Peaks and cut out today's Boulder Canyon. A $200,000 steel pipeline brought nearly flawless water from the Chautauqua and Sunshine Reservoirs to Boulder. Meanwhile, electrically powered Denver Interurban trains were running from Boulder to Denver and back. In Boulder drinking fountains were installed and re-read due to the own Arapahoe (sic) glacier.

There are also two different companies that offer shuttle service between DIA and Boulder, but the main value of the shuttles is that they offer door-to-door service, which can be tempting if your final destination in Boulder is near a bus stop (e.g. North Boulder). As boulder problems are created, it is quickly possible to cycle between the two places, even if the places are relatively far apart.
