The members of Apathetic Drive met in Colorado and formed in August 2004.  We discovered, one evening, that instrumentally we had the makings of a quartet and shared a common interest in writing music as a band. Although we had distinctively different influences, we instinctively and almost immediately knew we were meant to be together. To be or not to be was never the question, but rather how to blend our equipoistic musical tastes.

Now, after a year, we have succeeded in creating an uncommon collection of delicate melodies coupled with intricate guitar work and held together with driving underlying rhythms. Broadly categorized, Apathetic Drive's sound might be considered alternative rock. Upon closer examination, though, a listener like ourselves might have difficulty placing us under such a genre. This, in part, is because each member of the band is irreplaceable and brings an impressively different musical experience to the songwriting process. And although many times these styles seemingly clash, we have found a blend of sounds and a method of orchestration which complements and reinforces the uniqueness of each person in Apathetic Drive.

The Shamans are a Denver, Colorado based blues, funk, jazz, soul band. They are blessed to have 4 experienced and exceptionally talented life-long musicians. The Shamans come together to play unique blues-based music covering songs from artists such as, Willie Dixon, Stevie Wonder, Howlin' Wolf, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Sly & the Family Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Bill Withers, Koko Taylor, just to name a few.
